Mastercard Credit

This summer, we will be converting to a new vendor that will provide improved service and enhanced products. As a part of this conversion, the credit union elected to move to the Mastercard brand.

Why am I receiving a new Mastercard Credit Card? The credit union partners with a third party provider for our Credit Card transaction processing. This summer, we are converting to a new vendor that will provide improved service and enhanced products. As a part of this conversion, the credit union has also elected to move to the Mastercard brand.

Change in how your cards are issued. As a result of the conversion to Mastercard, each cardholder will receive an individual card mailing and your card numbers will no longer be the same.

On July 17, 2017 your existing TNFCU Visa Credit Card will no longer function. On July 17th you will want to begin using your new credit card.

To ensure you receive your new card, please log into online banking or contact True North FCU to verify your account reflects your current mailing address. If the information on your account does not reflect your current address, you may not receive your card.

When should I activate my new Mastercard Credit Card? You may activate your new True North Mastercard Credit Card as soon as you receive it by following the activation instruction included with your card. Your new card will not work until July 17, 2017 regardless of when you activate it. Continue to use your Visa Credit Card until July 17th.

Will there be any changes to when my payment is due for my new Mastercard Credit Card? The billing cycle for all cardholders will be affected. Statements will cycle on the last day of the month and this will affect the majority of our cardholders for the July statement cycle. For those members that receive a statement produced on July 11th your next statement cycle date will be August 31, 2017. Payment due dates will be on the 25th of each month. Will there be any change to where my payment should be mailed? Yes. Beginning July 1, 2017 payments can be made electronically or mailed to P.O. Box 34157, Juneau AK 99803. Please ensure you update your bill pay provider as the payment address in California will no longer apply.

Will there be any changes to my statement? For Mastercard Credit Cards, there will be a change to the statement cycle date; however, all account holders will continue to receive a monthly statement. E-Statement subscribers will access their credit card statement through Express PC Home Banking. If you are not currently subscribed to access E-statements through Express PC Home Banking, you will need to sign up.
