Three small decisions, made once, and your savings runs itself from then on.
What is an automatic transfer?
An automatic transfer is a standing instruction that moves a set amount of money from one account to another on a schedule you choose. You pick the amount, pick the day, and it repeats on its own — no reminder, no app to open, no decision to make each time.
How do I set up an automatic transfer?
Choose three things: how much, how often, and which day. Most people pick a small amount and match the schedule to their payday, so the money moves while the balance is highest. You can set this up in online banking, in the mobile app, or by asking any True Crew member to walk you through it.
What day should my automatic transfer happen?
Payday, or the day after. Timing it to when money arrives is the single biggest thing you can do to keep a transfer from bouncing or leaving you short. Money that moves before the rest of the month gets at it is money you never had to protect.
How is an automatic transfer different from Round-Up?
Round-Up saves from your spending — spare change, every swipe. An automatic transfer saves from your balance — a set amount, on a set day. Round-Up is the drip; the transfer is the scheduled pour. Most people who save well use both, because the two catch different money.
What if I need to change or stop it?
You change it. That's the point — automation isn't a lock, it's a default. Raise it after a raise, lower it during a tight month, pause it if you have to. A transfer you adjust is still working; only a transfer you never set up isn't.
🐏 Reggie's Tip: How much, how often, what day. Three choices, and you're set.
Pick an amount, pick a day, and let it run. Ask any True Crew member to help you set up your first automatic transfer.
