Loan Officer

Location of Position: Juneau, Alaska; Mendenhall Branch

We are looking for an independent, motivated individual for our consumer lending department. The loan officer position assists members by analyzing loan requests and making credit decisions per guidelines.  This fast paced position requires excellent customer service and organizational skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Explaining loan programs to members
  • Evaluates members needs and recommends loan options
  • Prepares and/or reviews all loan documents for completeness and accuracy
  • Keeps informed of current trends in consumer credit
  • Cross-selling credit union services

The full-time loan officer position requires great communication & people skills and a working knowledge of Computers.  Minimum 1 year lending or financial institution experience preferred.  Schedule includes rotating Saturdays.

  

Teller Positions

Position One: Teller FSS I - Full-time
Location of Position: Juneau, Alaska; Mendenhall Branch

Position Two: Teller FSS I - Part-time (28 hrs/week)
Location of Position: Anchorage, Alaska; Anchorage Branch

If you like helping people and are dedicated to excellent customer service, then we are looking for someone like you to join our front line as a Teller!

Responsibilities include:

  • Processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers
  • Opening new accounts
  • Balancing cash drawer and daily transactions
  • Cross-selling credit union services

The teller position requires great communication & people skills and a working knowledge of Computers.  Minimum six months to two years of similar or related experience required.
